Meet Patti – the welcoming face for families visiting our Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms at John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
Inspired by her own connection to the cause, Patti has been volunteering with Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW for 11 years; dedicating her time to supporting thousands of families with a seriously ill or injured child then they need it most.
“It’s not what we do as volunteers, it’s who we do it for. We do it for all the families of sick kids, so they can come to the Family Room to sit, relax and take some much-needed time out, away from the ward,” Patti said.
Patti was recently named a Westfield Local Heroes Finalist – recognising her selfless dedication to supporting sick kids and their families. A big congratulations and thank you to Patti for all you do for our families.
