The Family Room is located at the entrance of the J1 Children’s Ward within the John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
For the comfort of our families, we have a cosy lounge area, a quiet room for rest and relaxation, as well as space for the kids to play. By giving your kids some much needed space to play, we’re making the time your family spends in hospital just that little bit easier.
We want to make sure families have a ‘home away from home’ inside Hospital. That’s why our Family Room is free and open to the families of children receiving treatment in wards J1, J2, H1, NICU, PICU, Nexus and Paediatric Outpatient Clinics.
