Friends of the Family Retreat

Help give families with a seriously ill or injured child a place to reconnect

After many months of treatment and hospital stays, Kit and his family enjoyed a week together at our Family Retreat in Forster – taking the opportunity to reconnect and spend valuable time together.

“Staying at the Family Retreat impacted our family in all the best ways – it gave us the time to reconnect, be outdoors and let the kids be kids again.

“While we were there, we met two other families staying the same week – our kids hit it off instantly and we formed beautiful friendships; spending most of the week together. Kit even said his favorite part of the trip was making new friends.

“The location was perfect – it felt like we were on an overseas holiday. We loved being able to walk to beach and could even spot dolphins from our cabin.
I haven’t felt that relaxed in a long time.
