More than just a place to stay, Ronald McDonald House Tamworth provides a range of facilities and programs to help make each day a little easier for families with ill and injured children:
Ronald McDonald House Tamworth provides all the comforts of home, plus the compassion of staff, volunteers, and other families
Our staff and volunteers are here to lend a helping hand before, during and after your stay.
Our dedicated volunteers can be found throughout the house any day and time of the week. Look out for their blue shirts and welcoming faces.
Our dedicated team of staff are guided by our House Manager, Leisa. If at any time you need to speak to Leisa and the team, you will find their office space at the front of the House
The families of children, from birth through 18 years of age, who have to travel away from their homes for their child to receive treatment at Tamworth Hospital, are eligible.
We try to accommodate the needs of families where we can, but this is always subject to availability. Priority is given to families whose children have been recently diagnosed, have a serious or life threatening illness, are seriously injured or who require emergency treatment, as well as families of premature babies.
