The Greater Charitable Foundation is committed to standing by sick kids and their families, ensuring they have access to the essential medical care and resources they need. When a family finds themselves far from home with a sick child, it can be incredibly stressful. The strain on their financial and emotional well-being, quality of life, family relationships, and education can be overwhelming.
Thanks to their support together we’ve eased the financial strain for families with sick children, saving them over $1,048,501. Families like Tye, Cody, and Ted have been able to stay together without the burden of expensive accommodation costs while being close to their child in the hospital.
The Stronger Together partnership continues to provide invaluable support. Families can find a home away from home at our Newcastle and Tamworth Houses, relax in our Family Rooms in Gosford and Newcastle, enjoy a peaceful retreat, and help their children catch up on missed schooling with tutoring support through the Learning Program.
